ABOUT US
Green Street Dental is a general family dentistry practice located in the rapidly growing Barrhaven community. We are a deeply loyal, experienced and well-trained staff who are committed to delivering exceptional care using cutting edge technology. We warmly welcome patients of all ages to our office with kind and caring hearts.

We offer a wide range of dental services including; preventative/hygiene services, dental fillings, dental sealants, crowns, bridges, veneers, implant restorations, root canal therapy, extractions, teeth whitening, sports guards, nightguards and dentures. Our office is also able to provide nitrous oxide sedation should this be an option that appeals to you. We welcome you to discuss with us your specific needs and concerns and pledge to accommodate you as best we can - your comfort is our top priority.
If recommended by our doctors, we offer patients the convenience of referrals to specialists including oral surgeons and periodontists, located within our building. Evening appointments are available upon request and we will prepare and submit your insurance claims on your behalf.

OUR SERVICES
Routine Exams and Dental Hygiene
We provide complete routine dental exams for all ages, beginning at six months of age . Our friendly and experienced hygienists provide dental cleanings as well as gum and tissue assessments.
Root Canal Therapy & Extractions
Our doctors can provide root canal therapy and/or extractions based on individualized assessment and case selection.
Mouth Guards
We offer sport mouth guards, dental night guards as well as snore guards following appropriate assessment and recommendation.
Nitrous Oxide Sedation
Nitrous oxdide, also known as "laughing gas", is a safe and effective method to achieve conscious sedation. This is an appropriate option should you find it difficult to relax during a procedure.
Crowns/Bridges/Implant Restorations/ Dentures & Veneers
Our doctors can provide treatment for broken or missing teeth, with a variety of options
to allow improved function and aesthetics. We are happy to recommend a treatment plan based on your individual needs.
Teeth Whitening
We offer safe and effective teeth whitening services for patients who are appropriate candidates.

Dr. Elmira Ahmady

Dr. Ahmady graduated in 2014 from the University of Toronto's Faculty of Dentistry and quickly returned to her hometown of Ottawa to begin her career. She joined Dr. Sherry Locke and her team as an associate and became owner shortly thereafter. Dr. Ahmady's caring and gentle nature has been instrumental in cultivating a positive experience for all of our patients, especially the youngest ones.
Dr. Alex Derham

Born and raised in Ottawa with a dentist for a Dad and hygienist for a Mom, you could say Dr. Alex was born to be a dentist. After graduating from University with an Hon. Bachelor of Biochemistry, he went on to achieve his childhood dream, completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Sydney in sunny Australia. Upon returning to Canada, Dr. Alex has since honed his skills working at a busy Toronto practice where he developed a
passion for surgeries, implant placement and cosmetic dentistry.
Recently, Dr. Alex decided it was time to give his dogs the backyard they deserved and has since made Ottawa his permanent home.
